Project #3: Permaculture Education
Laura and YummyYards fully believe in integrating permaculture principles and ethics into our work and relationships with others. Part of that commitment involves training and working with others through teaching courses and workshops, and Permaculture Design Courses. This collection highlights some of the courses that have happened over the past 6 years.
Project #2: Children's Gardens
YummyYards owes its roots to working with children. Before Laura founded YummyYards, she was working with the Garden to Table program, a project through the Growe Foundation. With this program, we installed and maintained gardens at Boulder Valley School District elementary schools. Parents noticed that their children were actually eating larger amounts and varieties of vegetables and wanted to know how they could do that at home. Alas, YummyYards was born.
PROJECT #1: DANA AND SCOTT'S BACKYARD
Dana and Scott's was one of YummyYards first projects, and was definitely a fun one! With three younger kids, limited space, and an easy-to-work with client attitude, we created a beautiful space.
